Downtime nobody can attribute
When a line in Agbara stops, was it the changeover to generator, a machine fault or a product change? Paper logs lump them together, so the wrong problem gets fixed. Live monitoring puts a cause and a duration on every stop.
Diesel and gas spend with no denominator
Most plants know their monthly fuel bill. Very few know energy per case, per kg or per shift — the number that actually says whether a line is earning its power. Metering plus production counts turns fuel spend into a unit cost you can manage.

With FX pressure, importing a new line is expensive — and so is the downtime on the ones you have. Squeezing more output from existing lines usually beats importing capacity, but only measurement shows where that hidden output is.

- Most factories effectively self-generate. Grid supply is unreliable — national grid failures have been reported repeatedly in recent years — so plants run on generators or gas engines for much of the day, and every self-generated kilowatt-hour carries a heavy cost. That makes energy and generator visibility a first-class problem here, with its own dedicated page. Our gateways are battery-buffered and log locally, so the record stays complete through every outage and changeover.
- Connectivity is workable, not guaranteed. Urban 4G in Lagos, Ibadan, Port Harcourt and Kano is generally usable, but industrial estates can sit on congested cells. We deploy dual-SIM failover, use fixed links where the estate has them, and every device stores and forwards — a dropped link never punches a hole in the data.
- Budgets under FX pressure. Deployments start small — one line, one generator house, one cold store — and grow on results. We read the PLCs and meters you already own (500+ protocols) so imported hardware stays minimal, and cost bands are stated in writing after a remote assessment.
- Maintenance capacity varies by site. Hardware ships pre-configured from Johannesburg and is installed by local partners or your own electricians under our remote guidance, with remote diagnostics and over-the-air updates doing the routine work between visits.
